Second chance stories are my favorite. This was a good one.
Cameron and Jacob have a second chance at love but they honestly barely had a first. Their little tiny bit of time together made a huge impact on their lives and they never forgot each other. They never got over feelings that developed in one night together.
He left her!! That is the only thing she knew.
She never got over the loss and she never knew why he left.
His why was a biggie and understandable.
I loved seeing them rebuild, learn about each other and taking a second chance on a relationship that was over before it could it even start.
Demons from the past and insecurities made her push him away and it broke my heart, she broke my heart. She really felt lost and alone. I kept wishing and reading because I wanted a HEA for them.
This is the first I have read by this author and really enjoyed it. I would love to see a story for a couple who looked to be trying to get together. I think it would be another heartbreaker.
