The flying monkeys are loose in the Kingdom, Hatter is lost on the sun-colored brick road, and betwixt a battle of the worlds, the Red Queen seeks power, but all Dee wants is to go home.

I was very excited to read this book. The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland are two of my favorite story’s from childhood. The combination of the both in one book and I was sold!
It had a bit of a slow start for me. The more I read the more I was drawn into the story. When the two worlds combined I was hooked!! Just like Dee I was confused, worried and had absolutely no idea what was going on or what was going to happen next. I loved it, it kept me on edge.
Action, angst, magic and a sweet romance come together and make this a fun book. I will definitely be looking for the next one. I love a good villain and I want more Red Queen!

Elizabeth Montgomery was born in Williamsburg, Va and raised in Yorktown, Va. Growing up in and around the historic triangle spurred her love for the unusual and paranormal. She is a mom to four amazing kids, a wife to an extraordinary husband and a full-time pediatric nurse. When not writing, working or helping with homework you can find Elizabeth with her nose stuck in a book or hovering around her Keurig waiting for that next cup.
