Synopsis: Levi Black is an s.o.b.

Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he’s a pretentious, obnoxious, womanizing jacka** who thinks the world revolves around him.

He wouldn’t be wrong.

A famous soccer player, his skills on and off the field have won him medals, trophies, women, and the cover of every heartthrob magazine in the country. He’s broken nearly every bone in his body and a few hearts along the way, including mine—his stepsister—and lived to tell about it.

One night changed everything, and I’ve avoided him like the plague ever since. Just long enough to finish college, to bury the hurt, and to outrun the memories. But now that’s all changed. I’m back, and there’s no more running.

My hands are supposed to be my livelihood, but now they’re my curse. Levi’s reckless ways have landed him in a sticky situation, and his father has given me an offer I can’t refuse. One month, and all I have to do is put my hands on his body. Easier said than done. The problem is, even though I know it’s bound to bite me in the a**, I can’t bring myself to say no to the s.o.b.

REVIEW
Reviewer: Kim
Rating: 4 Groupie Stars
I’m a fan of JC Valentines and love her writing style and stories. I’m also a massive fan of Step brother stories, so when I saw JC valentine was writing a book on one of my favourite genres I was very happy.
The synopsis sounded different to other books I had read in the genre and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
Levi was your typical bad boy who likes a different woman every night. He is arrogant and didn’t care what people thought of him. As Levi is a soccer star he doesn’t have to try to get woman and they will always stay with him regardless of how he treats them. He is defiantly a S.O.B and doesn’t care how he’s portrayed.
Levi though does have a sweet side hidden away. He can be really sweet, generous, kind. He just doesn’t show this side often.
Vista is a nice girl, but unbelievably stubborn. She’s gorgeous, very smart, kind and caring. Levi happens to be her Step brother though and Vista is madly in love with him.
Levi broke Vista’s heart years before though and it’s not something she has ever got over, even though she has tried very hard.
The couple have explosive chemistry and I was really routing for them to get together. There was a massive misunderstanding between them all those years ago, so I wanted them to forget the past and look towards the future and see they are great together and both have been in love with each other for years.
The book was very well written and although it was a step brother story, it was also a beautiful second chance love story with interesting characters, angst and humour.
