The Push is a sequel to The Pull. I loved both books! Ms Zook pulled me in from the beginning of The Pull and never let my attention go. In fact, I’m still wanting to know more about Livvy. Scratch that I NEED to know more about LIvvy.
The Push is a great addition to The Pull and does give some closure and explanations for the ending of the first book. However I felt like The Push also ended with a cliffhanger. I’m hoping there will be a third book about these amazing characters. I fell in love with Livvy and Darin in the first book. Livvy is a strong woman and in this second book her strength is put to the test. We get to know more about Darin’s family in this installment. I liked getting a glimpse into his world through getting to know his mom, dad, and brother. Shane is Darin’s brother and in this book he confused me a lot. He seemed to be fickle about his feelings and didn’t always own up to them. I did like him most of the time but sometimes he is just a douche. I will say that some of LIvvy’s actions were not always well received by me but you you never know what you would do if you were in her situation\.
Both of these books had me crying all of the time while I was reading them. I do love a good ugly cry story and both of these books fit the bill. I love the connection that Ms Zook creates to her characters. She has left me wanting to know more about Livvy, Shane, and Gwen. I feel like there is still so much more to this story and I’m hoping that there will be a third book. I cannot wait to read more from this author! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a unconventional love story that doesn’t always have an HEA.

Having two women wanting you at the same time … isn’t that every man’s fantasy? Wrong. It’s a nightmare, at least for Darin Thorne. The doctors had assured him his wife was going to die, sooner or later, so he’d moved on with someone else. Then he’d gotten the last call he’d expected to ever get—his wife was back from the dead. She’s coming home from the hospital and needs a place to stay. Darin is forced to invite her to come home with him. Two women living under the same roof, one his wife, the other his fiancé. Could this ever work? Darin feels a storm brewing in his life. He can’t possibly live like this much longer. The question still stands … which woman will he choose?
