It’s finally my time.

Time to escape from my mother, her crazy antics and questionable morals. I’m getting the heck out of Dodge, leaving the trailer park, to make something of myself. Everything was fine until I walked into The Unacceptables’ bar and met Abel Hellock. With his gorgeous muscles, tattoos, motorcycle and perfect smile, my knees quaked. My life was about to be sucked back into the seedy underbelly I fought so desperately to climb out of.

Everything was fine until I met my step-brother for the first time.

This was a different take on a stepbrother romance for me because it had a MC twist on it. I really liked the combination of Stepbrother and MC together as I love both genres, so having them mixed together to create a story was great. This was a fast read so I found that there was a lot packed in a short space, but was packed in was interesting and flowed nicely throughout the whole book. As the book was short and fast paced then the love between the characters was instant and there was no build up. I really love the game playing and build up in a relationship so this was something I missed in this story. The chemistry between Cricket and Abel was really hot though right from the start.I found learning about Crickets past very interesting and this was my favourite part of the story. Her story was very sad, but I really loved her character and personality and loved that even though she had struggled and had a bad past, she was always forward and not afraid to go after what she loved and believed in. Abel was the perfect man for Cricket even though he was her stepbrother. He looked after her, protected and was everything she needed. The story was unique for a stepbrother romance as there is a lot more to the story than them being step siblings. The  back story is very interesting and different to the stepbrother stories I’ve read previously and this was a big plus for me with the story. This was a good quick read with lots of layers to it and wasn’t taboo at all in my option.
