This isn’t the man I married.
This…this isn’t that man.One night. One accident. It changes everything.
I wish I could tell you the exact moment he fell out of love with me.
That happily ever after was just out of our grips. It wasn’t. I ran. In the dead of the night, I packed my things and I left him.Now I’m back. He’s still the same man. A deadly underground fighter for the House Of Obsidian. He’s still dangerous. He’s still broken. I still love him.
This is the part where I’m supposed to turn back around and run… But I don’t.

Bella Jewel is a must read author for me and I love every book she has wrote, Flawed Heart was no exception.
You meet the 2 main characters, Max and Belle’s story in the Jokers Wraith MC series, Desolation.
There story is very sad. It is very heart breaking, tragic, but also beautiful. Bella Jewel really bought out the passion in both characters and wrote the story in away that drew out every last drop of emotion from them both and the story itself. This is what I loved most about the story and why it was so heartbreakingly beautiful.
I loved the way that the story took the reader from past to present. I felt like I really got to know a lot abut both the characters and it made connecting to them very easy.
Max was brilliant. I loved finding out everything I could about him. He is so intense and broken, but also a powerful man as he is the owner of The House of Obsidian. Learning about his past fascinated me and finding out why he had grown up and switched off his emotions and is so closed off was very interesting.
The flashbacks are key to the story. They show you how Max and Belle knew each other when they were younger and what happened to change things for them both.
I loved the second chance part of the story and how Belle made made Max in to a better person. The story was heartbreaking, but it was balanced out well.
I’m looking forward to book 2 and reading Rainer’s story very soon.\
