syopsis

Lawrence Finkle, known simply to his die-hard Minnesota Wild fans as Viper, isn’t used to hearing the word no. He lives his whole life just a little on the reckless side. After all, life is just one big game, right?

Wrong.

When what was supposed to be an innocent bet goes horribly wrong, he’s left to deal with the aftermath—and the guilt. In an effort to make things right the best way he can, he ends up falling for the one person on the planet he never should have.

The old saying goes that two wrongs don’t make a right . . . or do they?

Rating: 5 Emotional Stars!!!

** NO spoilers, no specifics. I went into this book not knowing anything about what was going to happen and I’m so glad, it made the story so much better discovering it on my own 🙂 **

Phenomenal!! This is my first book by Beth Ehemann and I am hooked. This book does have characters from her Cranberry Inn series, but I did not feel lost at all and plan to go back and read the other books ASAP. I absolutely loved this book!. It is a highly emotional book and will have you crying at both happy and sad times.

You really get to know and understand the characters and love them. You experience and feel what they are going through. My heart broke right along with them and had me tempted to message the author asking how she could do this to the reader. Yes my heart broke but any book that makes you really feel for the characters is worth it. I literally could not put it down the words flow so well and the story pulls you in, all of a sudden it was 2am.

There wasn’t one thing thing that I did not like. The main characters had great development and I loved seeing them grow and heal. I loved all the relationships and friendships. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more of this author in the future.
