Jos is a girl who likes to play the field. She’s not looking for a relationship because she’s been hurt in the past and frankly there is no one worth her time. She’s an intelligent and beautiful woman and expects a man to woo her, and so far that hasn’t happened….until Pierce happens!
Pierce just likes to have a good time, likes to sleep with random women (one night stands) usually…..until Jos happens!
When Pierce and Jos collide at a club they feel that instant pull, attraction and they can’t deny it. They hit it off and actually sleep together that night but Jos wants to play hardball and wants Pierce to woo her and work to impress her, which he does 🙂
Jos and Pierce are a great couple, I loves their chemistry and this boom wasn’t all just sex, there was some mystery involved and some heartache. Jos goes through some emotional rough times and even though Pierce wants to help her she can’t handle it and she withdraws from him.
It takes this poor couple some challenges in life to be together and be happy, but they overcome those obstacles that seem to keep getting in their way.
Then we have Corbin and Luna, best friends to Pierce and Jos. They seem to have hit a rough patch in their lives as well. Just when Corbin decides to move on after Luna moves back to Minnesota due to her dad’s illness, she comes back a year and half later when Corbin has a girlfriend now. But Luna and Corbin were mean to be together so they will eventually find their happiness like Pierce and Jos.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, I loved the main characters and the supporting characters as well. I highly recommend this series and I think you will too 😉
Elizabeth Lynx is not a robot, that’s for sure. At least she says she’s not. She is also not a space alien. How do I know this, because she was born in Baltimore Maryland in the 1970’s when no one wanted to be in Baltimore Maryland so why would her parents say that if it weren’t true. Of course she has had her suspicions growing up and is still in a continual search for evidence that backs up her space age theories.
To bide her time she writes about ‘normal’ people and their sexy romantic lives. Her husband chooses to put up with her theories and paranoid musings. Her two little boys help her see that perhaps she isn’t an alien but more of a climbing rock. This theory is new, so she needs more time to develop it further.
