to accept the line that divides them, Anna sets out to bring Dean back to her. Her determination and faith in their future puts her on the tracks of danger, and he is the only one who can save her.
Anna thinks she has her whole life planned for her and has to stick to the straight and narrow to make it to the school she always promised her dad she would go. When she meets Dean her plans start to change a little and her priorities shift.
Dean was so close to rock bottom he was barely serving out on the streets. He only did it to hopefully find his sister one day. Meeting Anna was what he needed to realize that he needed more than just himself to survive, but was it too late?
I loved Anna’s tenacity and drive to succeed but also to always be there for her friends. She had a disconnection with her family but was still able to love and care for her friends. Tessa Marie wrote another heart wrencher and dealt with the children that end up homeless after a tragic event that I hope will open people’s eyes and get them the help they need. Those kids need help just as much and we need to realize that we need to stop judging and figure out a way to help them.
